KIDS

Kids Data Systems is foster care software for residential foster care, group homes and outpatient care providers. Currently used by care providers in 6 Southeastern states, GeoSolve has been developing this product since 1999. This is a HIPAA compliant system whose:

The reporting capabilities are key to the overall system and their are 2 videos describing their capabilities. The Output Manager is a tool for organizing the 450 reports built into the main Clients program. The Report Manager uses SQL Server Reporting Server (SSRS) to deliver a smaller set of more powerful / configurable reports with drill down capabilities. This second tool reflects an ASP.NET application our company built on top of SSRS.

In terms of broad capabilities the KIDS products offer:

• Centralized repository of information for care providers to understand a child’s placement history, family support resources, full medical record, case management and daily log details for children.
• Management of agency’s personnel data (continuing education requirements and background checks for example),
• Track foster home data (home qualities, licensure and training activities, other individuals living in home for example)
• Manage the entire billing process to automate Medicaid and private insurance efile generation, accounts receivable, adjustments and reporting. The Collections product is used for submitting X12 formatted files to Medicaid and private insurers. 
• A Microsoft Sharepoint Services application dovetails directly with the main Clients application to allow coordinated management of medical transcripts, faxes, Word narrative, photographs, etc.
