If you have ever watched a CNN television production or listened to a Whitney Houston album - you've benefited from the work of the people at CTG. This company sells and services high-end audio and video recording equipment for companies throughout the US and Internationally. It was our pleasure to work directly with the President and Vice President of this company some years ago at a time when there business was growing faster than their information technology could keep up. The challenge that initially led to our company introductions was CTG's desire to create an address lists for a Christmas card mailing. This is a difficult thing to do when individual customer lists exist in four different formats on as many different computers. The frustration that resulted caused the President to seek a better way; that was the day he contacted our company.

Following an intensive interviewing process with a variety of persons within the company -- GeoSolve Consulting made a detailed design
proposal to the owners, received refining instructions and then began development work.

GeoSolve created a SQL Server product that covers all aspects of customer management, job initiation, service histories, labor and material tracking and invoice generation

  • When an impatient and famous recording artist calls to check the status on her equipment repair, any person in the company that might answer
     the phone can quickly retrieve that artist's information and not only tell them whether their repair is complete but remind them of preventive maintenance scheduled at her studio later that week.

  • The lab technicians have invested years in their training and are compensated accordingly. CTG however needs to make sure their hard work
    on behalf of customers is billed correctly. The labor tracking features built into the system allow: technicians to easily record work they do for customers, shop supervisors to monitor rework events and the general accuracy and efficiency of staff; and accounting persons to quickly generate invoices with the correct summaries of each technician's involvement.

  • CTG takes customer care seriously -- and wanted an information system to help them. The product GeoSolve created for them allows them to record detailed contact information for each person within their customers company, and can be used to provide a variety of customized
    reports including a summary of all gear that CTG has ever worked on for a customer… and yes, they create their Christmas card mailings
    from this today.
